Interview with an Urban Shaman I had been meditating for years when I first met Rosemarie Ceraso, LMT and founder of a cultural arts organization called Earth Beat (earthbeat.net). I became intrigued when discovered her connection to Shamanism. She calls herself an Urban Shaman as she was born in Little Italy New York City. Though initiated in the jungles of the Brazilian Amazon, South American rain forests, the West Indies. And having lived on the ocean/jungle in Costa Rica. As well as studying domestically with Chief and Medicine man Archie Lame Deer while promoting some of the sacred ways of the Lakota Sioux. She incorporates her ancient knowledge with various Healing Arts through her virtual center EarthSpirit.com. My curiosity and the Producer in me wanted to know more, so I sat down with Rosemarie and came away with a new respect for the power of the mind, body and spirit to enlighten and heal. It was one of the most mystifying experiences I ever had, and was surprised to discover the power of a shamanic journey. And desire to share that knowledge with anyone who has wondered themselves about this ancient art. In chatting with Rosemarie one can become enchanted with her knowledge and stories. Through her own curiosity and years of global travels and initiations with powerful healers she has much to offer. Indoctrinated into the exotic world of shamans, she has climbed though jungles, crossed raging rivers and faced lions. What she has garnered she shares in workshops and private sessions to help others become self-empowered, which she says is a foundation for self-healing and conscious evolution. I feel privileged to know her and to be a part of creating an-on line workshop with her. A first step to an infinite journey. And because how often do you get to meet a shaman? I invite you to listen to my interview with Rosemarie and to use this link to check out the course. It could be the beginning of a magical journey.
