Fresh Lemon Hummus -The artist way of cooking

Fresh Lemon Hummus photo by Jonne Helfert Sullam

I have working to complete my new book Evolution of a Wild Heart

On the back burner I have a artist way cookbook

I’ve been putting together for longer than I like to say.

I wanted to share this recipe from the book.
It’s quick and easy (about five minutes to prepare) and a good appetizer when entertaining guests. If you make it let me know what you think.

Quick Fresh Lemon Hummus

Ingredients:

1 can of chick peas drained

2 cloves of fresh garlic crushed
Tip: Make sure you crush the garlic before you put in the food processor for a perfect dish.

2 Tablespoons of fresh large lemon
(or to taste)

2 to 2 1/2 tablespoons  of olive oil

1/8 teaspoon of  paprika

1/8 teaspoon of salt ( or to taste)

Mix all ingredients in a food processor until smooth and ad more salt and or lemon to taste.

Chill before serving
Be artistic!
Garnish with a a sprinkle of paprika.

Want to look really cool and impress you friends ad sliced black olives on top and serve with warm pita bread and vegetables.

Thanks
